Recent Media Appearances

I was recently interviewed for and quoted in two popular press media pieces related to my areas of expertise. The first is a long-form article published by Abigail Covington in Rolling Stone called “Inside the Highs and Lows of Sapphic Pop’s Banner Year.” We had a great conversation about the racial and gender implications of who gets to be considered and celebrated in sapphic pop. The piece was also picked up by Them, a queer media website that retained some of my quotes in their summary.
